KAT General Meeting 2018
Stefan Rauschen becomes new KAT Board member
At this year's KAT General Meeting, Stefan Rauschen, since 2014 Managing Director Purchasing Food Fresh at Kaufland Dienstleistungs GmbH & Co. KG, has been elected as the new KAT board member. Since 1998, the 49-year-old has been working for Kaufland. Initially, Stefan Rauschen was the central purchaser for dairy products and in 2010, as authorized representative, he took over the position of Purchasing Manager Fresh for the areas of bread and baked goods and dairy products. Stefan Rauschen follows Professor Dr. Horst Lang from Globus-SB Warenhaus Holding GmbH & Co. KG, who did not run for the KAT board again. In addition, Friedrich-Otto Ripke was confirmed as Chairman of the Board and Roelof van Zetten as Deputy Chairman of the Board.
"Stefan Rauschen brings in-depth knowledge and many years of trading experience. We are very pleased that we were able to win with him again a dedicated and competent representative of the food retail trade for the KAT board. Together with Stefan Rauschen, we will be able to expand the partnership-based cooperation between KAT and the retail sector further on", says Friedrich-Otto Ripke, CEO of KAT. "I would like to thank Professor Dr. Lang for his almost 20 years of service on the board. With his dedication and expertise, he has contributed valuable input to the development of KAT. " The KAT board consists of 14 members from the egg industry, the food trade, the animal feed industry, the egg industry and animal welfare and is re-elected every three years.
